We wish to establish a new all ability 11 to 19 secondary school – a local school for local children. The school would open in September 2014 with Year 7 children, eventually becoming a six form entry school with 180 children in each year group, growing eventually to provide a sixth form. The new school will be known initially as the ‘The SASH School’ but choosing the final name will be part of the consultation over the coming months.The SASH School will be an outstanding school.  It will be a first choice local school for families in the neighbourhood.  It will provide world class teaching and learning opportunities that ensure the success of the students, enabling them to move on with confidence into work, further training or education.Our school will be a place where all students enjoy learning, an inclusive learning environmentwhere all learners are welcome and able to succeed.It is very important for us to measure support for this new school and we would be delighted to have your views on our initial proposals.
